Art Kane

Art Kane -nacido Arthur Kanofsky-, (EEUU, 1925-1995), fue un fotógrafo musical y de moda activo desde los años 50 hasta el inicio de los 90, y que realizó numerosos retratos de músicos como Bob Dylan, Sonny y Cher, Aretha Franklin, Frank Zappa, Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin, The Rolling Stones o The Who. Con 26 años se convirtió en el Director de Arte de la revista Seventeen. Comenzó a explorar su pasión por la fotografía de la mano del legendario Alexey Brodovitch. En 1958 recibió un encargo que lanzó su carrera cuando reunió en Harlem a 57 músicos de jazz para la revista Esquire. Art Kane está acreditado en el libro «Stainless Steel Illusion» por la fotografía de John DeLorean con el coche deportivo DeLorean; base del único anuncio creado por la DeLorean Motor Company.
