Barry Feinstein

Barry Feinstein (EEUU, 1931-2011), se inicia como asistente de Ike Vern, fotógrafo de Life, y después trabaja para la Louis Kellman Productions. De 1957 a 1960 se dedica a la cinematografía con la Columbia Pictures. En 1960 inicia su carrera como fotógrafo por cuenta propia. En este período lleva una constante actividad como reportero y es llamado por Cornell Capa para colaborar con la famosa agencia Magnum. En 1966 sigue el tour europeo del mayor cantante de aquellos años, Bob Dylan, del cual llega a ser el fotógrafo oficial durante once años. En toda su carrera ha realizado más de 500 legendarias portadas de discos, entre las cuales “Pearl”, de Janis Joplin; “The Times They Are a-Changin’”, de Bob Dylan; “All Things Must Pass”, de George Harrison; “Beggars Banquet”, de The Rolling Stones; o “Ringo”, de Ringo Starr.
